Section 11
Age limit and tenure
(1) The Commander-in-Chief shall remain in office until the age of 61 years.
(2) The term of office of the Commander-in-Chief subject to sub-section (1) shall be three years.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2), if the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, the President may retire the Commander-in-Chief on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers before the completion of that period. A chance to clean up will be given before retiring.
(4) The Commander-in-Chief existing at the commencement of this Act shall remain in office subject to sub-section (2).
